Hey. Hey. Yep, that's me. I am a Lularoe consultant. If you are reading this post, it's most likely because you already are or are thinking about becoming one yourself. I want to share with you what Lularoe has done for me. And not just the feel goods. This is a BIG DECISION and a lot of money, so let's figure out if this business is the right one for you.
I became a consultant back in March of 2013, sometimes DeAnne (that's the owner of Lularoe) says that I'm number 7 or 8 or who knows. I sure don't. All I know is that when I started, I had never heard of Lularoe or anything. All I knew was that this company sold maxi skirts (yes, that was it at the time) and that I had gone to a local pop-up (called a party back then) and was obsessed not just with the skirts but with the whole idea behind selling cute clothes to women and helping them to feel more comfortable in their skin and clothes. I was a bored mom (I know bored and mom don't belong in a sentence together), but I don't know how else to describe what I was feeling. I felt lost and like I wasn't sure what my identity was other than being a mom. But deep down, I knew that I was determined and driven and that if I wanted something bad enough I could put in enough work to make it happen.
So I did. It was a lot of money. I had zero support at the time from my husband. And it was hard. Really hard sometimes. But I sacrificed time. Time with my kids. My personal time (I had zero of that). Time with friends. And I worked really, really, hard. I even lugged bins and did local pop-ups when I was 8 months pregnant. Because I was determined. Nothing was going to stop me. I was going to prove to myself, to my husband, and to the rest of the world that I could do this. It wasn't all rainbows and roses. Don't get me wrong, I tried a lot of things that didn't work. I had countless events where I sold 1 thing (some none). I tried idea after idea and some worked okay, some worked amazing, and others didn't work at all. But I kept going. Now your probably wondering why I am telling you all this. Because Lularoe is hard work. I don't want to mislead you. You can make A LOT of money doing it. But you have to commit to the big picture. You will be building a business. You actually have it a lot better off than I did. People know what Lularoe is. They LOVE Lularoe. We had addicts. Literally. But you need to go into it thinking about building your own business. Start from scratch. Really. Try to find new people that haven't heard of Lularoe (yes, there are millions of them). Get them addicted. No one is the exact same. Every single person has different family, friends, acquaintances, ect. than the next. Yes, some may cross over. But you have your very own unique group of potentials... now, these may be potential customers, potential consultants, or just the connection between you and a potential customer or consultant. What I'm getting at is that IF you are willing to WORK HARD then you can do exactly what I did. While you may have one up on me and people know what Lularoe is now, you also have unique connections that you can tap into and build your own business from the ground up.
Lularoe has changed my life. It sounds cheesy. I know. But I'm being completely serious. You are all wondering so let's cut to the chase first. Yes, the financial rewards have been beyond my wildest dreams. I see people join this company all the time that within several months are making more than a full-time, dual income. I'm not promising that is going to happen to you, because that depends on you. The people that are doing that and making that much money are working really hard. Remember the whole thought of sacrifice now so you can reap the benefits later. Well many people sacrificed a lot in the beginning (I'm talking time and effort being the biggest sacrifices) and are actually benefiting months late. You can make a lot of money selling Lularoe. End of story. You can also make a lot of money telling people about the business opportunity side of Lularoe and training them how to sell.
Lularoe allows you (either male, female, couple, partner whatever you are) the freedom to be based from home, set your own schedule as far as days/hours/ect that you want to work, allows you in a sense to control your own income (hold more events if you want to make more money etc.). Lularoe has an 85% retention rate, which is unheard of. That in itself speaks volume, obviously consultants are making great money and loving it, or else they wouldn't stick around. There are SO MANY ways to sell Lularoe: local home pop-ups, pop-ups at businesses, fundraisers, selling on Facebook, selling on Facebook LIVE, selling on Periscope, selling at vendor events, and basically any other creative ideas you can come up with! If you would have asked me when I first started Lularoe what my goals were, I would have said to make a lot money and prove to the world (my little world that is) that I am successful. I have beyond exceeded my goals.
My husband is now my #1 biggest, most supportive cheerleader. Our relationship is stronger than it has ever been. We dream together, laugh together, set goals together. He is so proud of me. And most importantly, I am super proud of myself. I am me again. I am confident and productive and successful in my own right. While I do spend time working, I also am more present when I'm with my family. I have work time. I have family time. So many of our dreams are coming true. We now are able to play harder and relax more. I still work hard too. But everything is in balance. My family has grown. Yes, I've added one more little one to the mix but that's not what I'm talking about. I have built the most incredible relationships with people within Lularoe. Some of my closest friends and my husbands are a part of the Lularoe family. These relationships are so precious and irreplaceable. I can't imagine my life with out so many of these people in my life.
Lularoe has changed everything.
Your story is probably different from mine. Maybe you can relate. Maybe you can't. But regardless, Lularoe is journey. One that you need to go into expecting bumps in the road (and only you can choose to make those bumps your excuses or instead your driving force) and knowing that it is going to require time, effort, and work. But it's also one of those special, rare opportunities that can impact your life more than you ever could imagine and this moment. Lularoe can be whatever you want it to be. Because no one can determine your outcome except you.
