Putting EXTRA in the Ordinary

Wednesday, January 17, 2018

LIFE. IS. CRAZY.

My girls are growing up SO DANG FAST I literally
find myself on a daily basis saying things like:

- NO, you don't need Bronzer

- Please put your tongue back in your mouth

- Have a good day at school and 'PLEASE DONT HURT EACH OTHER

- What do you mean you have a man crush Monday?

-NO, I won't drive around the block to kiss you goodbye

So with my #coolmom status fading from their view and life moving
all too fast I decided I need to make it a regular thing to make ordinary days special.

As important as setting specific nights aside for special date nights with
my Husband and kids I feel it is equally important to be spontaneous and take random day dates!

My girls are growing up way too fast and days
like this continue to mean the absolute WORLD to me.

I let my girls completely decide the itinerary and although I was quietly
dying inside in anticipation it ended up being the sweetest day ever.

I get asked at least once a day if we can go to Build-A-Bear so it
was no surprise that it was our very first stop!

I will admit it was THE. CUTEST. THING. in the entire world.

Of course, Haper and Taiya were twinning much against Taiya's dismay.
Pictured below is Navy no also contemplating her decision.

After they got their adorable new bags for the new 2018 year we grabbed
lunch at the Food Court and JUSt when I thought we were in the clear.

THEY EACH HAD TO TRY THE VR CHAIRS

You've heard me say it many times before and I will say it again
and again I LOVE BEING A WORK AT HOME MOM.

There are no if, and's or but's about it this company is absolutely amazing and
continues to be the biggest blessing in my life. You cannot put a price on motherhood.

Growing up I knew I wanted to be a stay at home mom but I knew I wanted to
work as well. To have the best of both worlds is a DREAM COME TRUE.

Also, please send me any parenting books you have on mothering

THREE TEENAGERS.

All in all I would consider this day a mom win.

- Noone fought (too much)
- Everyone was thrilled about their purchases
- Memories were made and my mama heart exploded
- Most slept on the way home
